Chandradip Development Society (CDS) is a woman headed community development organisation working since 2000 in the southern coastal belt of Bangladesh focusing on disadvantaged community empowerment on social rights and service issues with special attention to women and children.

At present CDS is directly implementing projects on maternal, child health and nutrition; safe water supply and sanitation; preserving rights for women and children; legal aid support and education; literacy education for the underprivileged; food security, safety net and social protection; hazardous child labour elimination and rehabilitation; health rights establishment advocacy; combating violence against women and children; strengthening local government institutions; climate change adaptation and DRM; establishing agricultural rights for women farmers; HIV/AIDS prevention among youth; national level advocacy and campaign etc. covering 95 unions in 15 upazilas of Barisal and Bhola District under Barisal Division supported by different international and national funding partners.
