Due to the strong COVID 19 emergency approach, developing countries treat climate measures secondary. The project addresses this situation with a focus on the countries of Bangladesh, Tanzania and Uganda, supplemented by further activities in Sri Lanka and Nepal. The project aims to strengthen the voice and contributions of CSOs in the project countries Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Uganda, supplemented further by regional and global level efforts for participatory and gender-just improved Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in the context of COVID-19 recovery.
CARE International (through CARE Germany), Climate Action Network International (CAN-I), SLYCAN Trust, CAN Uganda (CANU), CAN Tanzania (CANTZ) and CAN South Asia (CANSA) along with national partners, including Clean Energy Nepal (CEN) and Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD) Bangladesh.
