Strengthening the Eco-Village Development (EVD) Concept in South Asia

The current project is a test run of viability of Eco Village Development concept and experiences gained from previous 2 projects in a larger and different geographical areas with solutions  beyond household energy.  Scaling up being the driving force, the project attempts to turn EVD solutions into a social enterprise model.

Objectives
  • To conduct a feasibility study of EVD concept and solutions in Barwani district, Madhya Pradesh
  • Reach out to local NGO’s/CBOs to build a network of EVD concept practitioners
  • To strengthen the Eco-Village Development (EVD) concept to be ready for further upscaling in South Asia.
