1. Nana Mariam Yussif

Position: West Africa Coordinator, African Climate Reality Project

About: She is a young climate advocate who believes in capacitating local communities to build resilience. Passionate about sustainable development, she works to bridge the gap between grassroots action and global climate initiatives. Nana Mariam is ACRP’s West Africa Coordinator serving as the central contact point for Climate Reality Leaders in the region, streamlining operations and providing localized support on the ground.

2. Nakul Sharma

Position: Program Coordinator, CANSA

About: He is a clean energy enthusiast, working with CANSA on various programs related to capacity building, policy analysis, and advocacy. He provides evidence-based analyses to promote fair, inclusive, and just energy transition in South Asia. His areas of expertise, combined with keen interest, are the promotion of renewable energy and clean energy policy, access to transition and infrastructure finance, and ensuring energy justice in the Global South.

3. Aurora Audino

Position: Climate Finance Expert, Europe

About: She is a climate and sustainable finance expert, and a passionate climate youth advocate. She has acted as Climate Youth Delegate from Italy in various international and national conferences. She has actively participated at the UN climate conference since 2021. In 2024, she was recognised as European Climate Pact Ambassador and Max Thabiso Edkins Climate Ambassador, a program supported by the World Bank. She has led initiatives in collaboration with ministries and international organisations and empowers citizens and youth on climate action, also as part of the IRENA-Italy I ACT peer educator program. Currently she is a fellow in environmental finance with UNDP BIOFIN, and previously she supported the European Commission in implementing the European Green Deal.

4. Harjeet Singh

Position: Director, Fossil Fuel Treaty Initiative

About: He is a global advocate for climate and social justice. Currently, as the Global Engagement Director at the Fossil Fuel Treaty Initiative, he brings extensive experience to his role. Previously, Harjeet held positions such as Head of Global Political Strategy at Climate Action Network (CAN) International and played a leadership role in climate justice initiatives at ActionAid.

6. Rituraj Phukan

Position: Founder, Indigenous People’s Climate Justice Forum

About: He is the Chief Operating Officer and Founder of the Indigenous People’s Climate Justice Forum. His work focuses on advancing the rights of indigenous communities, with a strong commitment to climate justice, sustainability, and the integration of indigenous knowledge into global climate policies.

7. Dr. Vivek Trivedi

Position: Founder, APSWDP

About: He founded the Association of Professional Social Workers and Development Practitioners (APSWDP) in 2014; a think tank and is instrumental in getting Special Consultative Status under the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC), Accreditation and Observer Status under the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). He is a passionate author, global traveller, and interested in nature photography. Presently, he is working with the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh as Social Development Officer in the Development Cell.

8. Jasmine Kaur

Position: National Convenor, IYCN

About: She is a national convener at IYCN & senior fellow at Centre for Global Affairs and Public policy. She is an expert in Circular economy and resource efficiency. Her current projects are on Circular business solutions, Gender-equitable decarbonisation, and tackling plastic pollution in Ganga. She is also currently a fellow under DO School, Germany, trying to build an enterprise on the redesign principle of Circular economy.

9. Shaik Imran Hussain Choudhary

Position: Youth 4 COP Achiever

About: He is shortlisted in Youth 4 COP as achiever & also he is the founder of Prakheti Agrologics. Imran is a young and passionate advocate for ecological conservation and sustainable agriculture. With a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, he has dedicated his efforts to creating fruit forests, Miyawaki forests, and other ecosystem projects that prioritize functional design and native biodiversity. Imran firmly believes that ecosystem restoration and climate-resilient agriculture can only be achieved through sustainable technologies and economic incentives for local communities to build self-sufficient systems. He is currently working with the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation in Wayanad, helping to rebuild their Farmer Producer Company and collaborate with farmers to conserve and market native rice varieties.

10. Tasnia Ahmed

Position: National Co-ordinator, Climate Reality Project, Bangladesh

About: She is a youth development expert on public health and climate action working for 7 years professionally and over a decade of volunteerism. She is working as a Program Manager at SERAC. She is heavily involved with the UNFPA Youth Task-force Committee on Population, SRHR, and Climate Action; NDC Reviewer; serves as CSO Asia Representative of the GFF-CSCG steering committee, Country Coordinator of Global South Coalition of Dignified Menstruation, Partnership Representative of the International Youth Alliance of Family Planning-Bangladesh, WORTH fellow on Climate Action and Women Empowerment, and Fellow of Climate Reality Leadership Program. She is the national coordinator of the Youth Coalition of Climate Justice (YCCJ) in Bangladesh and facilitates 27 civil society organizations for climate action. She is also mobilizing young activists in Bangladesh to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition and advocate for it at both the local and national levels.

11. Aakriti Dotel

Position: Advocacy & Campaign Coordinator, NYCA Nepal

About: She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Patan Multiple Campus of Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Passionate about climate action, she is actively involved with Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA), a dynamic organization dedicated to raising awareness and driving campaigns on climate change and its impacts. Aakriti’s commitment to amplifying youth voices in the climate movement has taken her to global platforms. She represented NYCA at COP 29 in Baku, where she contributed to discussions on climate policies and youth engagement, and at the Global Youth Dialogue in Slovenia, where she shared insights on mobilizing youth for climate resilience. With her academic background and active engagement in climate advocacy, Aakriti continues to inspire and empower young people to take meaningful action against climate change, both locally and globally.
