This session highlighted how renewable energy serves as a powerful catalyst for adaptation and resilience across multiple sectors. Organized by CAN International, GCHA, Action Against Hunger, CANSA, and CAN Africa, the event explored the role of clean energy in advancing the Global Goal on Adaptation and related SDGs. Panelists underscored how linking adaptation planning with renewable deployment can reduce vulnerability, enhance health, food and water security, and foster inclusive growth. Through interactive discussion, participants identified key policy enablers, financing priorities, and collaboration pathways to integrate renewable energy more effectively into adaptation frameworks worldwide.
