Parts of northern and central India this year faced a record high #heatwave which lasted from the onset of March till early June, leading to at least 90 deaths. Human induced #climatechange has been cited as the major contributing factor for the severe heatwaves experienced in parts of #India and Pakistan. Climate experts say such heat waves will become even more common and intense with further global warming.
