Since COP27 in 2022, the establishment of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD) has marked a significant milestone in global efforts to address the most severe impacts of climate change. At its 5th Board Meeting, USD 250 million was allocated for a pilot phase under the newly adopted Barbados Implementation Modalities (BIM).
