The fifteenth United Nations designated youth awareness day or International Youth Day was commemorated on August 12, 2015, world over. Action/2015, together with Climate Action Network South Asia partook in the Action/2015 Youth global movement with the much celebrated #YouthPower poses.
The #YouthPower poses is just the beginning of Action/2015 South Asia’s and CANSA’s plans for International Youth Day. A workshop for youth, focusing on a range of environment and climate change issues will be organised late September that will also coincide with the United Nations General Assembly and formal adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals.
