Sarath Ekanayake is Secretary, CABRE (Center for Applied Biodiversity Research and Education) – a partner organisation of CANSA. Concurrently, he serves as a consultant plant ecologist of IUCN – The World Conservation Union, Sri Lanka, and a member of the species expert committee of the Ministry of Environment, Sri Lanka. He has worked with the Sri Lankan government, International organizations, NGOs, and the private sector.
