Evidence Based Advocacy For Eco-Village Development In South Asia

CANSA and INFORSE will be involved in Advocacy and Campaigning at district, state, national, and regional levels for the promotion of village-based low carbon, pro-poor climate solutions as part of national climate policies proposed for UNFCCC. As an essential basis for this, they will use the evidence collected and compiled from the implementation of low-carbon, green technologies both within the selected eco-villages and beyond throughout the South Asian region. Appropriate capacity building materials will be developed for providing advocacy and campaign implementation training at the national, state and district levels.

The project duration is from January 2015 to July 2017. The partners of the project are DIB, INFORSE INFORSE South Asia (represented by INSEDA, WAFD (India), IDEA (Sri Lanka), CRT/N (Nepal) and Grameen Shakti (Bangladesh).
